Bachata Basic Skills & Drills

Do you want to learn Bachata but feel like you have two left feet? Do you love to groove but can't count musical beats? You've come to the right place! This class is for beginners who have little to no experience in dancing. More experienced dancers are also welcome to attend (in fact we encourage it!), as it never hurts to review and continue to improve the basics.

Class begins with a detailed breakdown of the Bachata basic step and a warm-up song focused on footwork. We will then explain and spend time practicing some of the most fundamental movements and patterns used in Bachata dancing, applicable to both solo and partnerwork. Build your knowledge and confidence in this popular Latin social dance style in a supportive, non-judgemental, and fun environment! We intentionally keep our class sizes limited so students are able to benefit from individualized attention and practice with instructors, helping you improve your skills with even greater speed.

This event will be held at Dream Academy of Dance Arts inside of Fox Valley Mall. Enter via Entrance 2.
